A hole in one

Being an ex-pat is hard at times. But I love it. Every day I learn something… seriously, every day. Sometimes its a deep cultural truth or the fact that index cards are called record cards here (and yes, it took us asking at five different stores to figure that out). So life is an adventure. But still Gaborone can be a boring place.

We count on braais with friends and the occasional cinema experience to excite. Needless to say, it’s about the people. So when we visit South Africa we must indulge our every whim.

And that meant bowling in Durban over Christmas… and just recently mini golf in Mafikeng.

I may or may not have still finished in second to last place.

Sidewalks fer shure. Less so when they are covered with 20cm of snow. Yet another non-hazard of your current life.
