To visit? Yes please!

Chelsea came for a visit. And she saw how a missionary lives. No mud huts or bore holes here… and yet when she commented at the goats crossing at the intersection, it was apparent that yes, this is Africa.

It might be a city in Africa, where I truly don’t want for anything (though chocolate chips are really hard to come by…what? No pity?), but it is still a place where people need Jesus. They need Him as we feed the orphans and vulnerable children at Naledi, or when the pilots are picking  a patient on a medical flight, or when a Peer Educator is discussing how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS to one of their friends.

It was such a blessing to have a wonderful friend come and experience the life that has changed me. And then I got to show her why I have fallen in love with Africa. An amazing holiday ensued, more details to follow!
